World Pediatric Project Redesign

Our Web site redesign for the World Pediatric Project helped create a better experience for people to donate and share the cause.

Meet the Client

The World Pediatric Project is a non-profit organization that provides tertiary diagnostic and surgical care to children in Central America and the Caribbean.

Here's the problem

The World Pediatric Project website was not efficiently driving donations via the online donation form nor did it clearly outline the organization’s purpose or mission statement. The World Pediatric Project wanted its Web site to:

  • Help users instantly understand the organization’s mission,
  • Highlight a clear call to action for users (i.e. donate via the online donation form), and
  • Be socially integrated to align with the organization’s social media efforts

Here's how we helped

Create Digital redesigned components of the Web site in order to achieve the organization’s goals, create better user flow, and allow for a more fluid donor experience. This was accomplished by:

  • Streamlining content through revisions to the information architecture of the site,
  • Simplifying the user’s access to the information and the donation process,
  • Giving users a clear and consistent means to make donations,
  • Modifying the overall design of the website to enhance consistency and user experience, and
  • Socially enabling the website with share features to make content more interactive for users

Here's what happened

Client stakeholders and users have reported vastly improved user experience and are looking forward to improved donations, which will be tracked over the course of the coming months. As a result of the redesign, the World Pediatric Project Web site is more:

  • Findable,
  • Accessible,
  • Desirable,
  • Credible,
  • Valuable, and
  • Useful
