- Work with the client to advance their business needs and develop solutions that meet their short and long-term business goals, requirements, and marketing needs.
- Lead the internal team (Planning, Account Management, Production, Media) in understanding the client’s business goals, requirements, and current marketing plans.
- Deliver key presentations to small and large groups of client stakeholders.
- Work with the client and internal teams to develop campaigns and approaches that use social media to help our clients engage their audience
- Brief and work with the creative teams to bring program ideas to life.
- Grow existing business through identification of and pursuit of new opportunities.
- Produce reports on client projects, analyzing the performance of campaigns and making recommendations on how clients can increase their ROI in social media.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest tools and social media tactics being used by brands, and how we can take advantage of opportunities to use new technologies and approaches to make our clients more successful
- Research social media marketing and social business trends and pull specific, relevant stats and insights in support of strategic business cases
- Translate conceptual marketing strategies into detailed business requirements and implementation plans
- Communicate complex business requirements to technical and user experience teams
- Review information architecture, technical documentation, and functional prototypes of client deliverables to ensure they align with the client’s business goals.
- Help ensure each stage within a given project’s execution stays on strategy.
- Consult with clients and internal stakeholders by sharing social media marketing thought leadership to help inform agency points-of-view.
- Support the selection and partnering with 3rd party vendors having specific specialized expertise in support of strategy execution.
- Ensure agency team operates at a high level, enjoys high morale (across departments), is appropriately rewarded, and delivers superior work.
- Own responsibility for client-agency scope of work and negotiations.
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology or a related field
- 5-7 years work experience working across a variety of digital marketing areas, such as digital media, social media, search (paid and/or SEO), email, etc.
- Experience working directly with cross-functional teams of designers, developers and information architects to develop technology solutions that solve client’s business challenges.
- Experience using web and social media analytics to analyze digital marketing campaign performance and improve campaigns.
- Ability to understand complex business requirements for technology solutions and translate those into functional requirements for development teams, such as sitemaps, UML diagrams, etc.
- Previous experience developing websites and web applications a plus
- Active in the digital marketing community
- Visibly active participant in social media
- Experience working at an interactive agency a plus
- Thrive within a more “entrepreneurial” environment by managing to deliver while helping to build and operationalize best practices.
- Be seen as a thought leader by staying ahead of trends in interactive marketing, emerging media, and communications.
- Based on performance metrics, you will be expected to aggregate, analyze, evaluate and report on integrated and digital marketing campaigns (social media and digital advertising campaigns) on the merit of performance and opportunities.
- Recognize and identify areas of weakness or poor performance, as well as highlight the strength of campaigns.
- Put forth recommendations, based on the data available, to help guide corrections and improvements to the campaign.
- Analyze and aggregate data from a combination of Google Analytics and other data sources (search, advertising, other).
- Work closely with account managers, planning and management in sharing findings that will further assist and develop future strategies on behalf of our clients.
- Plan and forecast potential campaign growth for clients. Using trending information to expose opportunities for expansion, the data analyst will assist account managers and sales with creating compelling proposals for clients.
- Create data-driven and fact-based forecasts with specific targets and models.
- Responsible for gathering information related to market trends/forecasts, analyze it and present findings and recommendations to project managers, sales or upper management.
- Create dashboard reports and templates for managers and clients.
- Minimum four years of data analysis experience
- Agency experience preferred
- Experience with digital marketing and technology and e-commerce, including web analytics, social media, and conversion marketing
- Fluency with PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot Tables; Shortcut keys; Functions such as vlookup, sumif, etc.; experience with VBA and Macros a plus) and Access, as well as other reporting tools (Crystal, etc.)
- Familiar with SQL and database structures as well as BI/dashboard tools and statistical packages
- The ability to effectively communicate with Web Developers and working knowledge of basic web technologies (JavaScript, Flash, SQL, HTML, web platforms and browsers, APIs, etc.)
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams to build a robust marketing strategy for the client
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Other), A/B and multivariate testing, and Multi-channel (online and offline) attribution and testing experience a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable presenting to senior management, clients and large audiences
- Math, computer science, business or other relevant background preferable
- Willingness to grow your skills in a collaborative, team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and organized, ability to complete projects within scope and on deadline
- Ability to translate statistical analysis into a concise, clear business case that both Create Digital and our clients can use to plan and execute new strategies is a must

- Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control software.

- Knowledge of multiple Project Management methodologies, including Agile (PMP preferred)
- Thorough understanding of Web based technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, CMS and source control
- Track record of success managing external client facing projects
- Desire and ability to learn quickly and operate in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
- Experience with mobile application development and social media is a huge plus
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- 3-5+ years work experience preferably in both web design and print.
- Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator (After Effects – nice to have).

- Experience creating wireframes and storyboard mock-ups. (Balsamiq strongly preferred.)
